  • Abstract
    The authors describe a new approach to modelling the optical electric field envelope function using a standard circuit simulator, show application to the calculation of dispersive linear propagation in a uniform single-mode optical fibre, and demonstrate that such a model can be integrated with an existing model of a semiconductor laser
