Abstract :
We provide the necessary and sufficient conditions for structural controllability of discrete-time single-input bilinear systems with an input matrix of rank one. These come in the form of two equivalent conditions: one involves checking the generic rank and irreducibility of structured system matrices, and the other involves checking for walks within the corresponding directed graph representation of the system connectivity.
