Abstract
An improved version of a previously reported technique for measuring the decay rates of the gain in TEA CO2 laser amplifiers is described. An application of the system to the measurements of
co2 -co2 and
co2 -co2 is reported. The advantages of this approach over a standard pulsed gain method are discussed.
