Abstract :
Frequency- and time-domain expressions for the transfer impedance of single conductor shielded cables are proposed. The time-domain convolution needed for the evaluation of the distributed longitudinal voltage induced on the internal conductor of the cable is directly evaluated by means of an equivalent SPICE circuit that can be incorporated in already existing shielded coaxial cables circuit models.
