Abstract :
We show analytically that a type-II superconductor may support short-range electromagnetic spatial solitons with a complex propagation constant. A theoretical model based on the Ginzburg-Landau theory is used. Analytical results for the complex solitons predict unique features that cannot be found in conventional solitons in normal (asuperconductive) media
