Abstract :
Measurements of the Hall effect and magnetoresistance in the U0.52Pt0.48 compound are reported. The temperature and magnetic field variations of these properties are discussed in terms of a competition between the Kondo effect and magnetism. The analysis of previous magnetic, thermodynamic and transport measurements together with the data obtained here allows us to attribute UPt to dense Kondo systems
