Abstract
Software development has seen rapid evolution over the past few decades: software projects are increasing in size and complexity, software companies are merging at a record pace, and open source code is proliferating. Not surprisingly, productivity improvement is a key issue for development organizations. In this article we discuss some views whether software industry´s productivity is declining.
