  • Abstract
    A label swapping device based on a time-slot switching concept is proposed and demonstrated. It consists of two transversal-formed circuits fabricated on silica waveguides, and two optical gates. Its label swapping operation using 20 Gbit/s optical signals is successfully confirmed.
