Abstract :
Technological developments in nuclear weapons and weapons delivery systems pose a widely acknowledged problem: managing the global social system to achieve a level of international stability heretofore unachieved. Key problem areas in global peace management are outlined, especially the focal problem of intercultural understanding. Strategies which might be initiated by Supplemental Peace Workers to enhance intercultural understanding are suggested. The connection between thought structures and a movement toward global stability is discussed.
