  • Abstract
    A simple technique for obtaining the parameters of a linearized model for a didactic magnetic levitation system is introduced. The proposed procedure only involves basic concepts of dynamic systems and is suitable for use in undergraduate control experiments. The project and validation of a digital lead compensator based on the linearized model are also presented.
