Abstract :
mWave is a C.A.E. (Computer-Aided Education) package solving in real time the analytical field equations to show the electric or the magnetic field-for either TE or TM modes-inside an infinitely long wave-guide of circular or rectangular cross-section. The user interface-conforming to the industrial standards X-windows and Motif-allows the end user to interactively modify any geometric, physical or electrical parameter of the system, and the solver is fast enough to provide instant feedback to these interactions
