  • Abstract
A coupled transient finite element/system simulation technique is applied to the analysis of a non-linear electro-mechanical actuation system. It facilitates the investigation of alternative control strategies for an application in which performance analysis in the time domain is important to the design optimization process. The technique permits the modelling of all the multi-disciplinary facets of the system
