Abstract :
The purpose of this paper is to present a possible model for the magnetic-coupled linear networks. A basic element is defined consisting of an electric branch linked with a magnetic branch. Both branches are interrelated by means of a coil. The electric branches are connected, forming an electric network, while the connection of the magnetic branches results in a magnetic network. A general method for the analysis based on such a model is given, and conditions for the existence and uniqueness of the solution are stated. The inductance parameters appear expressed in terms of basic design data. Finally, an illustrative example is outlined.
