Abstract :
This paper essentially covers the stability analysis of a Hydraulic Turbine-Generator Unit considering the influence of a Hydro-Mechanical Governor provided for control. The linearized mathematical model for the sam is developed on the basis of: the performance equations. Stability regions are plotted thAt include the influence of certain key parameters identified as affecting-the transient performance. Results of computer-aided parametric sensitivity analysis for definitive operating conditions (no-load and nominal load) are presented with conclusions
