Title :
A Simple Model for the Millipede Write Technique
Author :
Mackay, Michael E.
Abstract :
It is found that the extreme Millipede write temperature can be explained by a simple fluid mechanics model. Material properties significantly affect the operating parameters and the rather large temperature required to write a bit of information follows naturally from them.
