Abstract :
A completely general nonreciprocal cascade drivingpoint synthesis procedure is developed which does not require inductance. It is shown that any positive real driving-point impedance can be synthesized with cascaded capacitor-gyrator sections terminated in a single resistance. Each cycle of the procedure requires three capacitors and three gyrators and reduces the rank of the termination by four. An example is given to illustrate the method.
