Abstract :
The aim of this paper is two-fold. First, it develops workable models for specific devices which are known to inject harmonics into power distribution systems, namely ac-dc converters. Second, these models are then combined with distribution system elements, and the resulting network is solved to yield harmonic voltages. An example is presented, showing the authors´ application of the techniques to analyze a real-life installation.
