The rectangular cone is mapped into a cylinder by three-dimension conformal transformation to obtain the maximum and minimum values of the characteristic impedance of a rectangular coaxial cone transmission line. This method enables the characteristic impedance of a BTEM cell to be calculated accurately and easily
