Abstract
This paper is concerned with the control strategies of a dual channel DC-DC converter family having two input and two output terminals, and in particular the asymmetrical operation is investigated. Assuming either symmetrical or asymmetrical supply voltages or loads, the ratio of the two output powers is dependent on the control variables. The converter channels are capable of interchanging some part of the input energies in order to maintain the requested symmetrical or asymmetrical output voltages. Mathematical analysis, numerical, simulation and test results are presented for six configurations of converter family.
