Abstract
An ideal voltage-controlled switch provided in PSPICE is used to develop simple computer models for silicon-controlled rectifiers (SCRs) and TRIACs. With additional parameters, most of the thyristor properties are modeled. Detailed modeling of the C149M10 SCR and ZN6346A TRIAC and related applications are described
