Abstract :
The transient performance of dc infeeds into weak ac systems nas been discussed at some length in a variety of papers and seminars. Two of the areas of concern when modelling a proposed, or even an existing system are the lack of sufficient available data and also the limitations of the available analytical techniques, digital computer programmes and analogue dc simaulators.
