Abstract :
A special issue of the IEEE Transactions on Dielectrics and Electrical Insulation will be developed from, but not restricted to, lectures, talks and posters presented at the IEEE 13th International Symposium on Electrets (ISE 13) held in September 2008 in Tokyo, Japan. Contributions should therefore focus on recent advances mainly in the areas of polymeric and inorganic electrets and organic semiconductors. The following non-exclusive list of topics may serve as a guideline for prospective authors:
