Abstract
It is shown that if the capacitance of any distributed
network, uniform or tapered, is suitably divided between two or more conductors, rational admittances are obtained. The possible pole positions of the rational functions are shown to be the zeros of the driving point impedance of the "prototype" network from which the divided conductor network is derived.
