Abstract :
A novel wavelength-tunable electrically pumped InP-based vertical external cavity surface emitting laser (EP-VECSEL) having an end-cavity concave mirror directly integrated on a singlemode fibre is presented. Room temperature (RT) monomode operation and a mode hope-free wavelength tuning range of 15 nm in CW regime were obtained.
