Abstract :
Household appliances can contribute significantly to global energy savings. The latest motor drives promise full-scale conversion from electromechanical to variable speed electronic motor control. An integrated design platform can also simplify a design by integrating more of the digital, analogue, high voltage IC and also making use of recently developed control algorithms.
