Abstract :
This paper presents a remedy for grounded-front apparatus which suffers from a lack of desirable current-limiting fuse protection. The encapsulated current-limiting fuse offers solutions to the problems of mounting and available ratings. Design and benefits of the encapsulated fuse are discussed and compared to conventional reusable-housing designs.
