Abstract
IEEE Life Fellow James Meindl received the IEEE Medal of Honor in a ceremony in June, 2006 "for pioneering contributions to microelectronics, including low power, biomedical, physical limits and on-chip interconnect networks." He authored the highest number of ISSCC papers during its first 50 years, and published more than 360 articles in IEEE Xplore as of 2003.
