Abstract :
This paper reports on NIEL calculation methods. The software code NEMO (Niel Evaluation Model of ONERA) has been used in this study. This toolkit takes into account coulombic and nuclear elastic scattering. Nuclear reactions have been modeled by means of GEANT 4 simulations. The importance of the displacement threshold energy (Td) and the energy partition function is discussed
