Abstract :
This paper addresses a signal processing problem arising from a high-frequency radar scattering problem. Signal subspace algorithms apply to signals which are a sum of sinusoids and are widely studied in this context. We consider the application of existing signal subspace algorithms to signals of a more general type. We analyze the accuracy of model parameters estimated and show that the signal subspace algorithms are in a certain sense robust. Thus these algorithms have potential for solving a signal processing problem arising in conventional radar target identification problems
