Abstract :
This paper discusses and describes the process of dynamic simulation of plant auxiliary power supply systems and motor loads including the important step of validation of models through comparison with tests. A simulation run was confirmed by performing a test of the diesel generator loading sequence at Connecticut Yankee Atomic Power Plant. Test data of the start up was recorded and used to confirm or to adjust the models for the diesel generator and motors.
