CrossRef pilots plagiarism detection service - six academic publishers to allow full-text indexing

IEEE will partner with CrossRef and iParadigms to develop a system for scholarly and professional publishers to verify the originality of submitted and published works. Known as "CrossCheck," this service will include six leading academic publishers, who have agreed to allow their full-text content to be indexed to test the pilot.
