President´s Message

Richard C. Jaeger´s term as President saw SSCS conferences attracting record numbers of papers and attendees, the Journal of Solid-State Circuits continuing to have high download rates, and chapter activities and financial reserves at record levels. As of January 1, 2008, Willy Sansen, Professor at KU Leuven, Belgium and Director of ESAT-MICAS, became President. Well known internationally for his work in analog circuits, Dr. Sansen has been involved in a wide range of IEEE activities including Society Vice President and Chair of the 2002 ISSCC.
