Abstract
After a brief discussion of the design and manufacturing of a vacuum-impregnated epoxy resin mica insulation system for turbine-generators, this paper describes the time-proven properties and the improvements, which have been implemented during the past 20 years to meet more stringent utilization and electrical requirements.
