New York EDS/SSCS IEEE Chapter Formed in October 2007, Aims to Link Academics and Industrial Researchers in the NY Metropolitan Area

Aims to Link Academics and Industrial Researchers in the NY Metropolitan Area. Because IEEE´s New York section covers the five boroughs of New York City and Westchester and Rockland counties, the chapter plans to hold half its meetings in Westchester and half in New York City. Initial chapter activities will focus on a series of seminars with overlapping appeal to the local SSCS and ED community that will complement technical events held by other societies and IEEE units in the New York metropolitan area.
