Implementation and evaluation of hierarchical modulation based T-DMB transmission system

This paper describes the implementation of the Terrestrial Digital Multimedia Broadcasting (T-DMB) based transmission system with the hierarchical modulation feature. In order to evaluate the performance of the implemented system, various testing methods are applied. The test results show that the proposed transmission system has high performance values and are stably operated in the real environment. Accordingly, we expect that the verified transmission system will be utilized in the commercialization of the advanced T-DMB services.
