Abstract
The following bounds for the overshoot/undershoot
of the unit step response of a band-limited system are derived:

is the rise time,
is the bandwidth, and
is the zeroth-order modified Bessel function of the second kind. The suboptimal response corresponding to the upper bound is also discussed.
