Abstract :
A relation is established between the Schoeffler sensitivity S^{2} and the variance \\sigma F^{2} of a network function F . It is shown that under fairly general conditions, S^{2} is proportional to \\sigma F^{2}/a^{2} where a is the tolerance factor applied to all components.
