Abstract
This paper presents a mathematical analysis of the fundamental circuit on which the operation of dielectric amplifiers depends. The analysis is based on the assumption that the effective hysteresie curve of the amplifier´s dielectric material may be represented by a hyperbolic sine function. The cases of resistive and inductive loads are analyzed, and expressions for the steady-state input and output currents are calculated, Prom a consideration of the transient response of the amplifier, an estimate of its time constant is obtained.
