Abstract :
Reports on the design and implementation of a feature modelling system (GFM) for the CAPP of rotationally symmetric components. The modular software provides several utilities such as interactive component synthesis, topological validation, dimensioning and tolerancing, graphical display etc. It has been tested for modelling several industrial components and has been found to be versatile in part creation, representation and down-line linking to CAPP software
