Abstract
The paper describes a numerical method of analysis of signals recorded during a circuit breaker synthetic test : the signals, stored in digital form, are processed automatically by a computer. The consequences of digitization and the influence of noise are underlined. The main features of two digital filters (Butterworth and polynomial), used in order to eliminate noise, are described, and a means leading to a linear phase characteristic (to avoid a distortion of the signal) is shown.
