Abstract :
In applying a vacuum circuit breaker (VCB) in a nuclear power plant, the nuclear instrumentation equipment could be adversely affected by surges generated rated when the VCB is switched on and off, because the instrumentation cables are installed in a tray stack in parallel with the tray stack in which the high voltage cables are also installed.
