This report was prepared as an activity of the Capacitor Subcommittee of the IEEE Transmission and Distribution Committee to extend the existing bibliographies through the years 1975-1980. A total of 71 articles are referenced and classified: 1. Capacitor Economics. 2. Theory and Engineering. 3. Design and Construction. 4. Operation and Maintenance. 6. Application: Power Factor Correction. 7. Application: General. Many foreign language papers are listed. It is the intent of the Committee to publish these reports at regular intervals to maintain a quick reference guide on contemporary power capacitor papers.
