Abstract :
In this paper we present a single CMOS integrated circuit which provides all the analog functions necessary for the acquisition and display of color video data in low-cost videophone and multimedia applications. The circuit contains an ADC for three channel video data acquisition, and three DACs for video data restitution. Programmable transconductance-C filters provide anti-aliasing on the acquisition side, and smoothing on the restitution side. A PLL generates the system clocks from the camera HSYNC input. All associated voltage and current references are also included
