Abstract :
Information Display Systems for 650MW Coal Fired Plant covers selection of and operating experience with alarms for display in the Plant Main Control Room. Number and priority of alarms for Window Annunciators, CRT, and Printers and their aid to the operator are discussed. Equipment features which have evolved over several power station designs are explained. The paper is a supplement to Working Group in preparation of IEEE Application Guide P-676, and is a report on operating experience with some of the concepts of this work.
