Abstract :
The impedance, resonant frequency, and radiation pattern of a choke-loaded monopole antenna are investigated. The dependence of these characteristics on the position, length, and radius of the choke is presented, with the results allowing the design of a dual-frequency radiating structure. Experimental measurements are also given to verify the accuracy of the simulation results.
