  • Abstract
    For the development and optimal design of high voltage apparatus the knowledge of the electric field strength in insulation systems is necessary. Beside field calculation methods, which are in general up to now unsatisfying for the determ, ination of the electric field if predischarges in the arrangement are observed, measurement with field sensors is the only way to determine the electric field strength in such an electrode system.
