Abstract
The partial differential equation in position
and time
, which characterizes the voltage
along a linear distributed
network, can be reduced to an ordinary differential equation (ODE) by using the similarity variable. For the semi-infinite line, the reduced ODE will be solved directly without using the iterated error function.
