Abstract :
A class of maximally flat magnitude driving-point immittance functions whose real part on the j\\omega axis has on equi-ripple variation is identified, and their application in the design of equalizers is indicated. These functions exhibit a better frequency response over a limited band than other known designs and lend themselves to convenient realization in the form of equal-element ladder networks.
