Putting IT on the management agenda

The author looks at the cultural change for many information technology (IT) professionals, based on experience of dealing with managers in a major UK business school. A business directed method of classifying information systems is discussed. A set of guidelines for information management which general managers find acceptable and relevant, and which IT professionals can usefully promote is introduced
