Abstract :
This paper presents an efficient algorithm for solving the following constrained load flow problem: In load flow calculation, specified values of voltage magnitudes. reactive powers and transformer taps are adjusted one by one within their upper and lower limits so that unspecified values of voltage magnitudes and reactive powers can satisfy their upper and lower limit constraints. In the problem we also consider the case that the specified values are adjusted one by one according to a predetermined order of priority. It is assured that a solution of the problem can certainly be obtained by the proposed algorithm in which a load flow program is successively used.
